The band released their second full-length studio album, titled Selfish Machines in 2010. Pierce the Veil has released four studio albums and has toured worldwide since the release of their debut album, A Flair for the Dramatic in 2007. Other members of the band include Jaime Preciado (bass) and Tony Perry (lead guitar). Formed in 2006, the band was founded by brothers Vic and Mike Fuentes after the disbandment of the group Before Today (formerly Early Times ), which was formed out of the San Diego punk rock scene. Since their formation they’ve released three studio albums, and were recently signed to their first major label, Fearless Records.Pierce the Veil is an American rock band from San Diego, California, United States. Their sound has been described as “post-hardcore,” and while I’m not sure what that means, they’re from southern California and often play the Warped Tour, so I bet it has something to do with loud, catchy guitar riffs. Pierce the Veil was formed in 2006 by brothers Vic and Mike Fuentes. and parts of Canada, as Pierce the Veil will hit up many major cities throughout the continent.
The rest of October and the majority of November will be spent traipsing through the U.S. The band will take a couple weeks off, and then on October 12 are back on the road kicking off the North American portion of their tour with a show in Pomona, CA, at The Glasshouse. The tour will span six weeks, beginning on September 16 in Leeds and hitting up major cities in the UK such as Newcastle, Glasgow, London, and Manchester. The tour will be in support of their latest album, Collide with the Sky, which was released on July 17 and debuted at number 12 on the U.S. San Diego-based rockers Pierce the Veil have announced they will headline a tour across North America and the UK this fall.
